PASTE ES would be most suited for this application. PASTE ES is a white paste on the basis of synthetic lubricant. It contains high pressure and high temperature resistant ce- ramic components through which even under extreme operating conditions, metal parts under pressure (e.g. threads) can easily be separated again. Advantages: Ÿ Prevents corrosion and seizing Ÿ Resistant to acids, alkalis, chemicals, fresh-and seawater, at temperatures from -20°C to +1400°C Ÿ Seals threads, flanges and housings Ÿ Saves costs by easily loosening joined parts (even after years), less time expenditure and less breakage Tip: For food industry applications, we recommend Loctite product 8014 (see page 559) Type Packing PASTE ES 500 g brush tin PASTE ES PP 200 ml press pack with elbow dispenser and brush ü Warning: not to be used for oxygen! 200ml press pack 500g container Type Content Packing S FETT SAU 60 60 g Tube High performance lubricating paste for oxygen fittings The lubrication paste combines the properties of high lubricating effectiveness with simultaneous resistance against the attack of oxygen, aggressive gases and chemicals, NSF-H1 listed, flame resistant, respiratory physiologically harmless. It is very compatible with plastics, elastomers and rubber. Temperature range: -60°C to +250°C Oxygen resistance: Up to 60°C/max. 260 bar, acc. to EN 1797 and ISO 21010 Colour: White Note: Do not mix (grease) S FETT SAU 60 with other lubricants. When processing it is essential to have oil and grease free metal equipment (spatula). Before applying, the parts to be lubricated must be thoroughly cleaned.
