It can be used to control pneumatic circuits, where it is very difficult to design and fit a limit switch. In contrast to a pneumatic sensor fitting (Page 431), similar to an electric cylinder switch, a pneumatic cylinder switch allows querying the exact position of the piston and need not be positioned in the end position. You carry out the test in the centre of the magnetic coil and by lighting the control lamps, the tester shows whether the magnetic coil is working. Also suitable for non-visible permanent magnets (e.g. magnetic pistons). If you fit the magnetic ring on the test tip, the magnetic tester works as a torch. The battery can be replaceable without any problems. The solenoid tester can be used, regardless of the coil voltage.
